New PD for the Fan?

According to a KDKA release some weeks ago, on Nov. 26, Ryan Maguire, who ran sports talk outlets in Kansas City, Milwaukee and Ann Arbor, will join CBS Radio’s KDKA-FM as program director
 
Well, that shows not only the immaturity of Dunlap, it also shows his lack of radio experience.
 
I've listened to sports stations all over the country and I've never heard a live weather report. Maybe drop-ins from Accu-Weather or local TV, but never the local sports talk host.

And if you do it right, griping about stiff like that can be a funny bit.

Gosh, yes. Of anything you might complain of in the biz that would not make most people's Top 5000 List.
(especially considering how lucky he is to have a job at all in this economy).

The weather breaks make sense. They take only seconds, and keep listeners from turning the dial
elsewhere for that info.
