NASHVILLE, TN – July 4, 2006: N-Vision (Ionut Nan of Aurora, IL - www.n-visionmusic.com) is the winner of Trance/Dance band PEOPLE IN A BOX’s recent mix contest!
New song (vocal trance) – http://www.cnonline.net/~kirton/music.htm
Album - http://www.cnonline.net/~kirton/music.htm
“We’ve never done this with a new song before and thought it would be interesting,” says band founder/producer Kurt Kirton of PIB’s new single. “Kathleen’s vocals for “Since You’ve Been Gone” (not a Kelly Clarkson cover) were recorded over a scratch track here in Nashville. Then, alongside the chords, lyrics, etc., the material was loaded onto our site and the contest announced. There is no true original version of the new song as in a traditional RE-mix contest. We are very happy with the winning mix and so appreciate the work of all those who participated.”
The winning version is available for purchase as an mp3 at http://www.cnonline.net/~kirton/music.htm, and the other mixes submitted are available for preview via the band’s myspace page (www.myspace.com/peopleinabox). The 2nd place winner was Brutus Pop (Knut Arne Vollset) of Norway.
Also, PIB’s full trance/dance CD, FIND YOU AGAIN, and the vocal version of the Linus & J-Rezz remix of “Take Me” (which landed on major record pool TM Century’s 28 Jan 2005 disk serviced to numerous DJ's and radio stations alongside singles from Kylie Minogue, The Chemical Brothers, and others and received airplay worldwide--including Medium rotation on XM Radio for SIX months) are for sale via the same link above. This is the first time the Linus remix has been available for purchase/mp3 download!
Check out Kathleen’s new solo album, All to You, at www.kathleencarnali.com! Special thanks to Jason Bean at =)Bnpositive Design (www.bnpositive.com) for additional file hosting.
