New Pepsi Commercial

They're using "My Generation" from The Who. And they take the viewer on a nostalgic tour showing how the product (can & bottle included) has evolved through the years. They should bring back the old logo on the can once & awhile. I don't think it would do any harm. On a musical note. Roger & Pete must be happy. Another one of their songs is getting airplay on tv.

I was in my local (Phoenix, AZ) Wal-Marts and I saw retro Pepsi bottles with some of their old labelings surrounding the bottle. I didn't pick it up so not sure if their were glass or plastic.

I had seen some cans in recent years that had the old Pepsi bottlecap logo with a background of other older Pepsi logos that were mixed in with other more modern designs. However just recently it appears that Pepsi has redesigned the labels for all their products. Not just Pepsi, but Moutain Dew and Sierra Mist as well.

www.sodafinder.com *Might* be of some assistance.
They *Might* have what you are looking for, if it exsists, however they do have a warning on their site that *some* of the beverage is strictly for collecting, not consumption.

I like the cap-at-an-angle logo with the script letter P & C.

I also like the Spanish-language slogan, "Es Pepsi", simply and economically reproducing the E and the S.

ixnay... soy ixnay.

Isn't this whole thing a rather transparent attempt by Pepsi to co-opt Barack Obama's campaign logo and theme?
Think about that when you see the ads again and you'll see what I mean.
