new programming at KADD

Today KADD was broadcasting English language programming from shortwave broadcaster China Radio International instead of the previous music. What is going on there?
 
I heard it too! KADD is featuring programming aimed at teaching how to speak in Chinese... First the English words/phrases then in Chinese... How to dance, how to order food, phrases for everyday living... Pop music featured has chinese lyrics... Perhaps it is aimed at our service industry in dealing with Chinese visitors or incoming residents who will soon (in the years ahead) own everything in Las Vegas and eventually the U.S. :mad:
 
So is this a propaganda initiative? Is this supposed to introduce us to our new masters? Better learn Chinese, and right quick! (For what it's worth, back in the eighties I used to hear a program called "Learn to Speak Chinese" on the English service of CRI shortwave)
