Yes.

Didn't think Cumulus CHR's would be playing that song. Reason being because of the how long it took them to start playing Superbass.
I knew right away that "5 O Clock" had a huge chance of making it to Q100 since it has the right type of r&b/pop sound to it. "Superbass", on the other hand, is one of those songs that sound like a straight up urban / rap song at first (mainly to those who aren't big on this style of music) then begins to sound "poppy" later after it's heard multiple times.
atlmike said:Really wish they would add Chris Brown/Pitbull - International Love and Taio Cruz - Hangover... Chris Brown - Yeah 3x, Pitbull - Give Me Everything, Dev - In The Dark, etc are all similar and frequently rotated, so not sure why they are avoiding them? At least they added Lady Gaga - Marry The Night, FloRida - Good Feeling and LMFAO - Sexy And I Know It, I'll give them that... but I'm just generally confused by their decision making process when introducing new music.
I forgot about Chris Brown/Pitbull - International Love and Taio Cruz - Hangover, which is why I guess I never really noticed them not playing. It's harder for me to distinguish which songs are "missing" from an Atlanta station playlist since my current hometown is beginning to have stations "lack chr material" as well, despite the fact that we have 3 1/2 chr's. I believe "international Love" and "Hangover" are being played on a few stations in my home town (including the so called Hip-Hop one), but not on KZON who's leading in ratings, who seems to be slow with certain songs that everyone else in town are playing! They aren't even playing "headlines" by Drake (but have started testing ANOTHER song by Drake!).
So, I'm just as puzzled here as some of you are in the Atl. with Q100
Even LA radio is pretty "peculiar" with their song adds! I remember back when Pitbulls "shut it down" was big, all the rhythmic chr's in the west were all over it, along with the LA stations like KIIS FM..etc. However, not KAMP! They were playing "Pearly Gates" by Pitbull instead! I was like "wtf?" ("Pearly gates" ended up not really going anywhere, by the way, just in case anyone was wondering.)
So I think this is another reason why Q100 is looking better now (at least to me personally) because in addition to going more towards the top 40 charts, their lacking of songs aren't as unusual anymore (at least to me) now that I'm experiencing and seeing it happening in other areas of this country as well. It's funnier to have a town with 3 or 4 or more chr's lacking big chr songs than it is for a town with only 2.

KMVA is the station in my home town that's closest to the Q100 sound. Although they follow the top 40 chart, I find it funny which songs they'd "randomly" add early:
"glad you came" - The Wanted
"blackout" - Breathe Carolina
"tonight is the night" - Outasight
Then we have KZON already testing:
"heartbeat" - Childish Gambino
"too much in love" - Chris Willis
Yet none of them are playing Drake "headlines", which is actually a more established hit.
I guess this is one thing that makes radio interesting - never knowing for sure what will happen and why.
