New R&B AC for San Antonio-check This Playlist for an hour.

Target Females/24-54

In Spite Of research that Cox claims says Bryan Adams is the best music to play in San Antonio for females....

Here is what I would do with an Adult station at 100,000 watts....

What do you think? Better than KQ/Magic?

With You-Chris Brown
Yesterday-Leona Lewis
I Just Wanna know-Taio Cruz
Pretty Brown Eyes-Mint Condition
Dance Like There's No Tomorrow-P Abdul/R Jacskon
Touch My Body-M Carey
Umbrella-Marie' Digby
Ice Box-Omarion
Human-Human League
There's Nothin'-Sean Kingston
No Air-Jordin Sparks
Killa-Cherish
It Wasn't Me-Shaggy

KTFM is playing some of this, but next to what? I am not going to add CHR stuff (nights maybe). Only Adult Oriented
R&B and Hot AC music with great 90's and an occasional 80's song (skew younger).

Your format will be a complete failure. Don't take it personal.

Here's why-
2 or 3 years ago Mary J. Blidge was schedule to perform in SA. The show was cancelled because of lack of ticket sells. This is after 3 stations were promoting her concert- Mix 96.1, The Beat and Z106.7. The concert was probably was also advertise in Austsin. If R&B was as hot as you and some other posters on this board think it is then The Beat or Power would add more of it. Also KSJL would still be on the air instead of The Outlaw that almost has zero ratings yet seems to have advertisers to keep it on.

KTFM is doing the right thing with a mix of R&B, Dance, Pop, and Old School Hip Hop & Freestyle. I still want to see what Mando has up his sleeve. The music still remains the same as when Danny D. was Music Director. But then again, Robin is still PD so it's possible that the music Mando feels should be on the air is being held back by someone that doesn't know SA.

the only thing we don't know about 94.1 is what their next format will be in about 2 books

SA...hey man at that time Mary J did not have one of her biggest hits up...

R&B/Mainstream Hip Hop Ballads/Dance/Hot AC etc...

What did you think of my hour slice...that is what I wanted to know....

I am not offended to each their own and yes I know straight R&B would not work...

i wouldn't play howard hewitt, or levert's last Cd or Jazz MAINSTREAM MY MAN...

Broader Appeal than the tired old JOURNEY AND bryan adams the other guys wont let go of...
