New Ratings

I don't know if i am looking at the ratings right but, it looks like 96.7 is not getting any numbers at all with WBAP on FM. I am wondering if they lump both AM and FM together. Also I was suprised to see the Fan's ratings where they are as well. 107.5 jsut needs to do something different, they are tanking. I 93.3 seems to be doing a little better, but will never beat KISS. Thoughts?

It has to be combined. The info tag doesn't state that but I'm sure that's why it's there.

I am wondering what happened to Jack 3.5/3.5 then 2.8 - no major changes over there but a big dip.

Also, the Eagle is steadily slipping. Whatever is happening I'm sure Russ will say he didn't do it :D

Yes, I believe 820 and 96.7 are "lumped together" just like 1310 and 104.1. See SPORTS RATINGS SHOCKER thread for The Fan's bump. You are right... MEGA is the worst format to ever grace 107.5.

I am kind of suprised that "The Eagle" slipped with Russ there. I didn't expect a big jump, but I didn't think it would decline. Are people tired of him now? Would he do better in the afternoons?

I liked him best in the auto shop

If you go back a few months. I predicted an initial spike, then a gradual decline. And don't think for a moment that I am not enjoying it. It's not the being right part that I like so much. It's that RM is a hack. There will always be "reasons" for ratings changes, but in a PPM world, those "reasons", will always mean that there is something better to listen to than a guy who gets 90% of his material from prep sheets and other shows.

It doesn't help that the music the Eagle plays sucks!

Last 10 played... Other than Head Like a Hole the rest of the crap is so overplayed and tired.

1. Cult - Fire Woman
2. Ozzy Osbourne - See You On The Other Side
3. Nine Inch Nails - Head Like A Hole
4. Hellyeah - Hell Of A Time
5. Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb
6. Alice In Chains - Rooster
7. Black Crowes - She Talks To Angels
8. Led Zeppelin - Rock And Roll
9. Three Days Grace - World So Cold
10. Motley Crue - Girls, Girls, Girls

I wonder what 105.3 ratings would be without the cowboy games?

Hello All, I agree on Mega 107.5 sucks and needs to go back to The Oasis Smooth Jazz format. 107.5 The Oasis was pulling 3 + shares before they pull it for Movin bull Sh..T. CBS should have kept 107.5 as The Oasis. I think they should test The Oasis again 6 months on 107.5 HD1 and see what the ratings be now. I am mad at KRLD 1080AM last night President was talk they cut off the President to go to traffic. That sucks we need to hear ALL the President talk about Tax Plan...I do not want hear you cut the President again!!! I had to quickly change my radio to WBAP 820AM to hear to final remarks of the President. You suck KRLD 1080AM NO NEWS ALL DAY SAME STORY each hour.

Dan the MAN!!
The North TEXAS RADIO MAN!!!

About the same. The ratings usually posted here are Mon-Sun 6a-Mid. That's 18 hours a day, 7 days a week. A game is 3 hours. Even if you do really really well those 3 hours, your station has only got about another 120 hours of programming to fill.

WBAP's ratings are for the combined 820 and 96.7. This website has not figured out how to list it properly. Sometimes it says 96.7 and sometimes it says 820 with a separate listing for the other frequency that shows a 0.0 share. I'm sure Arbitron provides the numbers for each frequency, but we don't see them here. All we see is the combined ratings.

Every 3 months, Arbitron revises the "single line reporting" station list. Each 100% simulcast (or trimulcast or more) can elect to be combined or separately listed. If single line reporting is selected, the individual station numbers are not released (even the station would have to pay for a custom run to get the data). If the set of stations decides to be individually listed, we see them separate.

Few stations select separate listing, as large advertisers, often in other cities, would have to remember to add the results... an unlikely situation... and, otherwise, radio buys based on rank might exclude the station.

Anyone have ratings on 660 KSKY and 570 KLIF from 5 to 7 pm weekdays?
