Apparently Clear Channel admits that Peter Bolger isn't that bad of a guy after all. So the search for a replacement program director at WOAI and The Ticket comes to an end, as reported in Friday's edition of Radio Online.com. Interesting news, considering what happened at CC Miami back in February: www.radio-info.com/smf/index.php/topic,63003.0.html
Years ago I was fired from a successful top 10 market station under the pretense of poor ratings. In fact my midday ratings were higher than the morning show. I was rehired a year later by the general manager, who said, "Hey, we all make mistakes." I got a promotion and a lot more money when I returned. But I never trusted the GM again.
Best of luck to Mr. Bolger in his new venture.
