Those of you who hate The River might be able to hear the things you dislike more clearly in the future. I see Cox has an application to relocate the transmitter to a site just south of Buford. The wattage would remain the same, but the height would decrease by approximately 500 feet. Yet the projected service area with the 60 dBu signal goes farther south and covers more of Atlanta.
I don't know the timetable for approval or for construction. I also don't know if the antenna would be on a new tower or an existing one. This is not the same site for which WSRV has a CP for a new auxiliary antenna east of Lawrenceville.
