New rock station streaming

KBOB Rock 104-9 - a true gem I've been waiting to hear for with 3 different frequencies and over 10 years. I could listen to this all night. The url ias not anywhere online but here they are streaming!:

mms://live.cumulusstreaming.com/KBOB-FM

Windows Media Player

I hope to get bumper stickers and everything else of this one! Along with WIYY 98 Rock and 98 KUPD this is my 3rd fav. one out of all out there. Now that WLRS 105.1 and WARQ Rock 93.5 need to stream.

And people have said it's not as good as Lazer in Des Moines...boy are they wrong, wrong, wrong!!

104.9 is a interesting station....playing hairbands-90s grunge - todays rock.....seems like they are not sure what direction to take since active rock is wayyy ahead of alternative in the ratings now..

Yeah! Way ahead dude! ::) ::)

Here in Boston Active Rockers WAAF and WBCN are just killing the ratings (sarcasm)...

Alternative, Active, Classic, whatever, rock stations IN GENERAL have been on the slide nationwide as of late.

Actually Active Rock Stations are moving up slightly but revenue is down slightly. More and More peeps are going to Satellite radio...but Active Rock stations just a year ago were more Modern Rock....but with the explosion of Hard Rock bands coming out from Record Labels on Active Rock since spring...they are now holding their own...and will probably increase when more ActiveRock formats that play Alternative music also turn into Full Active Rock formats...especially with Dragonforce,Disturbed,Shinedown,AcDc,Metallica,GNR +More Rockin the charts now and soon in the next few weeks!
