New Saints Radio

Interesting night at the dome...caught wind Mr. Tom is seriously looking into adding a radio property or two (maybe a cluster if the price is right) to his media wing. Sounds like it could have some legs considering the rights will be up for grabs after the end of the year and the "Big One" will be hogged tied on retaining it due to lack of support talent. He'd like it all under one roof. Word on the water is it could be an FM which recently flipped and possibly the whole cluster. And could the "Cube" be in the works on being relocated to the "Tower" with room for two or four additional radio studios?

I've heard that too from inside sources. TB definitely wants to bring his holdings under one expanded media roof and into one pocketbook. His. And with a certain sports broadcasting contract expiring at the end of this season, TB is not about to let that escape his eyes, especially with the more-than-adequate cluster he certainly has in mind to broadcast it on. Look what he did with his TV station in under a year.

If all of this is true, why are the pre-season games still on CST which blocks out over 50% of the statewide fan base, and no one from let's say Opelousas north get to see them. They should be produced in house with the same crew that work the regular season games for FOX and use the Jim and Hokie audio, then sold to locals statewide and in Mississippi.
