New Schedule at Talk of Connecticut

Of course, Malzberg ends his daily live show at 6 PM, which means he'll be on tape delay... at least the 3 PM afternoon drive host is local, it looks like...

Brad "Grandpa" Davis (who's like 200 years old at this point) in morning drive is local as is Dan Lavallo at 3PM. Except for Beck everyone else in on tape Delay - Laura Ingraham, Steve Malzberg, Michael Savage, Dr. Joy, and Dr. Hoffman.

Anyone know if they every plan to do a live stream? I've always liked listening to Dan Lovallo but now that I no longer live in CT I can't listen to WDRC AM.

I don't think any of The Buckley Station stream except for WOR 710...

And even WOR's stream is piecemeal, what with syndicated shows like Glenn Beck being replaced with "WOR Radio Network" fare...

It's a shame because I know people from out of the area who want to listen to DRC-FM.

Well, until then, there's always KOOL 101! ;D

One of the DRC-FM people on the station's Facebook page posted a couple of months ago that the outlook for streaming of DRC-FM was better this year than it's been in a while. Nothing on it since, though, despite repeated pleas from displaced Nutmeggers and curious outsiders who want to hear "No Good to Cry," "Riding In My Car," and Ron Sedaille's request show.

With the "performance tax" looming, I wonder if WDRC streaming would become a reality.

Good point. And there is also other legislation being proposed in Congress to tack on more fees for playing music and also to control program content on licensed stations. Fortunately those have not made any movement yet and may not due to some opposition from opposing forces in Congress.
