New shows coming into your market in Sept. 2015

"Just For Laughs: Gags" isn't exactly getting a warm reception in Seattle. Tribune's KJZO "Joe TV" had slotted the show at 3am out of the gate, placed among
the overnight informerials!

That's dumb, as it was on CBC (CBUT) for many years. You'd think the show would get a better spot - afternoons or in the late evenings. But no.

The Fab Life premieres 9/14 on KAPP-35/KVEW-42 in Yakima/Kennewick. Will be weekdays at 4PM, replacing Queen Latifah.

Memphis is getting Meet the Browns and House of Payne back on WLMT 30. But I am extremely unhappy there's still no Mike and Molly. We also don't have Hot in Cleveland, Cougar Town, or Anger Management. Makes no sense why so many smaller markets have them but Memphis doesn't get them. Memphis has one of the worst TV markets in the country. Too many talk shows and paid programming.

Crime Watch Daily is on KZJO in Seattle starting 9/14.
Don't know when 2 Broke Girls begins.

I took a look at the schedules of our big 4 channels (WFOR/CBS, WTVJ/NBC, WSVN/FOX, WPLG/ABC) on 9/7 and 9/14 and the only changes I noticed were:

  • Starting 9/13, Today in Florida (WSVN's morning news show) will air from 8-11am Sundays on WSVN. Currently, Sundays are the only day of the week Today in Florida doesn't air (on weekdays it airs from 5-10am, and on Saturdays 7-10am). Previously, a bunch of televangelists occupied this spot.
  • Starting 9/14, Fablife will air from 1-2pm on WSVN, replacing two episodes of Who Wants to be a Millionaire.
  • Starting 9/15, WWTBAM will now air 2 episodes from 3-4am Tuesday-Saturday on WSVN.

WSVN Channel 7 focuses on it's "NoozePlex" than it does on quality programming.
