New Signal in Quincy

Double O Radio completes the move in of KPCR-Bowling Green, MO to Quincy, IL as WLIQ on 1530. Station is a simulcast of KHMO Hannibal, MO.

Signal is 1400 watts days, 290 Critical Hours (2 hours after sign-on and 2 hours before sign-off)

Tower is just across the river, north of the new bridge's approach

Antenna is unipole on 190 foot tower

Transmitter is BE 2.5 K

Station is simulcast with KHMO for now, with the exception of when St. Louis Cardinals are on KHMO

is the AM doing its own format yet? What a waste of a signal move it there and do nothing with it. I never thought the station would move. But, then again it was in a small town with no business...so I guess the town couldn't support the station so they had no choice but to move it or lose it.
