New Slogan for Energy

They are now known as "The Beat of Arizona."

This is more friendly to a wide demographic. The "Arizona's Dance Authority" or "Arizona's Dance Radio" positioning statements were only appealing to the P1 listener.

last ditch effort for a station on the way out... no ratings for the past 2 of 3 books. check the post on the dance message board about Party 105.3 in Long Island. i'm sure Sierra H is not happy w/ the "no shows" in the past couple of books. look out Phx, dance is on the way out. i see them going w/ adult R n B to complement sister Mega 104-3/99-3 or programming maybe to the market they should be programming to (where you can actually hear them w/o static) Payson, AZ.

If you go over to the dance board you will find a lot of favorable comments about the new direction Energy has taken, by playing more mass-appeal songs. If they don't show up in the Fall book, it should be time to cut the cord because now they have direction, aimed at a mass audience, and everything seems to be coming together.

However I believe they will make an appearance in the next book after not showing for several in a row.
