New slogans for Hot AC's?

So, we've morphed into a new decade. 90's or 80, 90's, and now doesn't work.
How bout...
Hits from, 2k and today? "Two thousands" just sound terrible!

Modern Hit Music

Modern Music for (your area)

I really like both. The first is a little more current based I would imagine.

Yeah, I have heard "(city's) Modern Music Station" recently. Seems like a decent fit.

Coast 931 in Portland Maine used to use 80s, 90s and Now but they've recently switched to Today's Best Mix.

I've heard at least one station use something akin to "Hit Music for Grown-ups."

I always used the term "Zeroes" to identify the previous decade that just ended. What about "The best music from the '90s, Zeroes, and today"?

We use "Your Music, Your Station." I know this is used and has been used (overused) in national Hot AC radio. But Dial-Global/Jones no longer uses the handle. In our market, in fact, it has never been used. I feel that as long as we truly cater to this slogan by listening to our listeners input (of course the input isn't every listener), the slogan will position our station the way we want it. The request lines tend to be significantly busier since we have begun using the slogan and playing every reasonable request. It seems nine out of ten callers request a song that fits our format anyway.

I do not think I would use this one at all, as I do know some kids do listen to HOT AC also and that will tune them out. Some HOT AC are leaning Top 40.

I agree... I understand that the target for hot AC is often grown-ups, and women. But, I have heard many Hot AC's brag about the fact that you can listen with kids in the car...although I feel that it sounds out of place to play that and then hear some of the songs like "Sexy Chick" that you may hear on a station that leans Top-40.

WKDD/Akron took your advice. Their new slogan (adopted a few weeks ago) is "90s, 2k and Today"

Sunny 93/Gallipolis/Racine uses about 3-4 positioners. In order of what I hear the most:

Your Music, Your Station
80s, 90s, Now
Different kind of Hit Music Station or "Family Friendly Upbeat Hit Music Station"
All The Hits

They're a current-leaning Hot AC here in Southern Ohio. Good station, good imaging.

Last week, 95.7 WLHT in Grand Rapids has finally become the official Hot AC station it's been trying to be for so long. It is now called "Channel 957".

One of its taglines is something like, "Music from the '90s, 2K, and today". I still think "'90s, Zeroes, and Today" sounds better.

Hot AC is in a unique position because it's hipper than mainstream AC but not quite as kid-oriented as CHR. One of the ways this station describes its listeners is, "Are you too old for thug music and kid stuff but not quite ready for the slow and sappy stuff on Star [referring to Star 105.7 - WOOD]?"

I am not a fan of slogans that refer to years, unless the station is actually programming music exclusively from those eras.

On the other hand, I've heard slogans on Hot AC stations referring to The Songs Of Today. Not much better than referring to decades of music, but it doesn't define an era of music, which allows some of the music from the 70's, 80's and 90's to be played that may fit the format.
