This was pretty amazing. I didn't enjoy the sketches or films all that much, but they were able to do something incredibly complicated. I don't get why they said, "recorded from an earlier live telecast" since it was never live. That wouldn't have been possible for any of it. Tom Hanks was obviously edited.
It was great to see Hanks and to see him doing so well. He looked old but he explained that was his movie role.
When he thanked people at the end he didn't mention Fred Armisen. There were a bunch of people not mentioned who were in the tribute, but Fred was in a sketch.
I enjoyed Larry David as Bernie a lot.
Other than that I guess my favorite sketch was the one with the group from the office with the two women who got so upset.
I was looking forward to Trump and we got him. Some of those jokes were probably in terrible taste given the number of sick and the number who died.
"Weekend Update" wasn't quite as much fun as I had hoped for but it was pretty good and we really needed it. Even Michael's prank on Colin.
That was a nice tribute to the man in charge of music other than the band.
Whoever the music guest was, he did very well. Not adding all the extras makes the music sound so much better.
