New Song from River Road - Remember them?

Hey everyone - I would be interested in hearing your feedback
on this song. It is a new release from River Road. They used to
have a deal with Capitol Nashville, got moved to Virgin, finished
an album and the label folded.

Some have told me they dont like the content, others say they
like the curveball at the end.

Here is the link to listen to it on Airplay Direct:

http://airplaydirect.com/music/riverroad/

Details on the songwriters are available on the Bio info
of the page.

If you are in radio and need help getting a download or
have questions give me a call.

song is heavy on the current countrypolitan production style.......but, thats what they want.
vocals fine, but a bit heavy on the tim mcgraw cookie cutter style. but, i guess that style is still radio hot these days. how much longer though?
in fact, if tim mcgraw recorded this, and released it, it would go #1, and cause a lot of talk, and media chatter about the subject matter. how come tim mcgraw didnt get this song, or maybe refused it?
all in all, its pleasant, and listenable a few times. to those who lived the lyrics, it may be even more special!
final word: its all about rotation. rotate this one, and duh ......

Thanks Scott.

This is totally a grassroots promotion effort. We think we have picked
out some pretty good songs. We kept the production outside of Nashville
because we did not production to be rushed.

If anyone has a Country station, any time you could give this record would
be greatly appreciated. Also, please contact me so that I can get you on our
list of early believers.
