New songs at Kono 101.1

Kono 101.1 has added a few songs I've never heard on the station before, a lot of them being from the mid 80's.

Harden My Heart- Quarterflash
Believe- Cher ?? (was played Friday around 7 a.m, but not sure if it's to promote Cher being in concert since the song is from 1999)
Sweet Dreams- Eurthymics
Stand Back- Stevie Nicks
Centerfold- J Geils Band

There's a lot more they've added over the past couple of months, but I've heard these just recently since I've had to check my radio a couple times just to make sure I'm actually listening to Kono 101.1 lol

Well, I guess it's because we old so-and-sos are dying off! And after all, how many times can you play all that late 70s stuff that I used to cling to?

Just like classic country hard to find! I guess they want everyone to head to XM?

They've added more music in recent weeks some songs going as far as 1988. They've also brought back some oldies that hadn't been heard on the station in a while from the late 60s and early 70s.

I think it's a good way to draw in new listeners and keep old ones as well.
