New Songs

Just checked All Access for future releases for this lame CHR period. Here goes:

James Blunt - You're Beautiful: Slow. Nobody will play it. OK song. AC/Hot AC only.

Jason Mraz - Geek In Pink: Hot AC and Adult CHR

Josh Kelley - Almost Honest: Hot AC and Adult CHR

Kelly Clarkson - Walk Away: PLEASE NO MORE KELLY CLARKSON!

Ne-Yo - So Sick: YUCK!

Teddy Geiger - For You I Will: Never heard it

Yellowcard - Lights & Sounds: Wasn't into it at first. Now I think its a great song. One of those grow on you songs. No CHR will touch it though.

Goo Goo Dolls - Better Days: Hot AC wore it out.

Gwen Stefani - Crash: Is she done yet? No?

Jamie Foxx - Unpredictable: Never heard it

Morningwood - Nth Degree: OK song. Thats it. Just OK. Noticed B97 New Orleans is playing it.

Ranjini - Music Box: Never heard it.

Sean Paul - Temperature: Sucks

Mary J Blige - Be Without You: Never heard it

Speech - Esmeralda: Never heard it

Switchfoot - We Are One Tonight: Out of all the Switchfoot songs they have released to radio the past 3 years, this is the one I really don't like.

Matisyahu (Hebrew/Yiddish for Matthew) - King Without A Crown: Reggae done by a Jewish guy with a very large beard. To me it was just simply OK when I first heard it back in November. By the end of December it grew on me. This is now a great song IMO. Hope it does well.

Others:

Gorillaz - Dare: OK. Not as good as Feel Good Inc.

O.A.R. - Love & Memories: OK. Just OK.

Aly & AJ - Rush: Radio Disney: Your Music, Your Way

John Mayer's "Daughers" was very slow and did okay last year. Maybe this song has a chance.

I like her, but she is long overdue for a break. This will definitely be another Top 10.

Wasn't this a Christmas song??

I like it. But it probably won't go any further than Top 20 on CHR.

No. 1 album smash! I seen the video on VH1. It's okay.

> Mary J Blige - Be Without You: Never heard it

It's the Greatest Gainer/Airplay this week on the Hot 100! I haven't heard it yet either, but I have a feeling it's going to explode soon...

SOME MORE TRACKS:

Rob Thomas - Ever The Same

I mentioned this before, and its been getting a lot of airplay lately. I love the song.

Pussycat Dolls - Beep

All I have to say is.....lol.

Chamillionaire - Turn It Up

Not really.

T Pain - I'm In Love With A Stripper

Pretty basic.

Chris Brown - Yo

It's pretty good, but he could've been at least a little more creative with the song title.

Lil Rob - Bring Out The Freak In You

Heard it on KZZP/Phoenix. Really good club song, it'll be huge.

Madonna - Push

Get Together and Push are better, but this will do as a minor charter.

Marcos Hernandez - If I'd Known

It's pretty good, but very generic. I don't think it will get much chart status as If You Were Mine was around the same quality as this song.

50 Cent - Best Friend

WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY??????????????????????????????????

First listen I hated it, but it's growing on me now. This will probably be their second consecutive No. 1 on CHR/Pop.

Uh, I think you meant to say "Madonna - Sorry". "Push" and "Jump" are definitely more US radio friendly, but WB decided to go with "Sorry" as the second single worldwide. I really hope "Sorry" will blow up. Radio ignored first single "Hung Up" even though it was a HUGE download smash. Go figure...

I hope it flops.
