I had a talk with a brother from church named Javier Hernandez, he stated in his conversation that they just moved here to houston from Elkhart Indiana. They have a webpage www.radiovozcristiana.net and he told me that they are looking to come out in (RADIO ABIERTA) Did not know what he really meant with that, but I think he was trying to say he is looking for a frequency to start his station on. I wonder if he will have any luck finding one here? I mean basically Radio Aleluya has been trying to fill any available space left. And then we also have www.radiopoderosa.com trying to find a space here in houston. So what are the chances Radiovoz will find anything?

I haven't seen old Frecuensy since he retired and got out of radio years ago. He won the lottery and the 1st thing he did was to change his last name. He told me he got tired of people trying to pronounce it.

Oh yes, I almost forgot; he had to change his 1st name, too!

I've looked at the FCC database, there are multiple and conflicting applications for every conceivable opening in the area. I'm in the same boat, trying to find an open frequency. Lotsa luck -----

There is a new NCE-FM filing window opening up in February, but all of those slots are in the commercial band, and there's nothing around Houston at all. Best thing he can do is go after an AM facility either in the Houston metro itself, or outside (like KRCM up in Shenandoah). Even the translators are frozen until the FCC figures out how to untangle that mess, then look out for a big LPFM filing window sometime next year. Of course, if he's got 8 million or more, he could always step in and buy KCOH!

Yes. That's what my school tax bill covers. Conjugated inter-lingual words and phrases. It's a new form of learning and is gaining popularity. Funk & Wagnalls has been replaced by the Herban Dikshonairee.

At least you got it right in the post, right?
