From my understanding it was on KEBC-1340, I forgot the owners name that bought time on the station but they did an Urban format from 7pm to 7am which was a good time for them to come on right when KVSP was on 1140 and signed off at sunset.

To the previous who said 94.7 The Groove? Don't think that will happen anytime soon since they just put on a new morning show, but it would be nice:) Do you think Citadel may pick up The Groove on one of their underperforming stations or on 97.3, which would be a bad idea, that would give OKC 2 Urban stations with bad signals.
Edited by X-Man on 12/23/05 10:03 AM.

97.3 ABSOLUTELY won't cover most of the black population. In the "hood" 97.3 will get clobbered by all the other close FMs in the area. Forget trying to hear it in the NE side. It's just not going to work over there without some really good equipment the public would NEVER pay for.

I would love to see the Groove guys back in OKC somewhere. Their mix was much better than what the Perry bunch puts out on either band.
