That is correct. :) Suppose to stand for Jammin' Jackson.

Thought there would be a station that has the monkier, if you will, called "The Hub", since Jackson is referred as "The Hub City".

Too late. WHUB Cookeville is "the Hub of the upper Cumberland". It is one of the oldest stations in Tennessee. (4th or 5th?)

Yes, this was the station that was in Trenton, and they used to have a studio and/or sales office in Dyersburg at one time in the 80's. They've always seemed to have some sort of format change every few years.
 
So then this was the station that was at one time WTNE-FM? Paul Tinkle owned that one at one time for Thunderbolt Broadcasting, and it is my understanding that Grace Broadcasting owned that one as well. Maybe they bought it from Thunderbolt.
 
Yes, it was the former WTNE-FM. Grace bought it and WTKB 93.7 in 2005. They changed 97.7 to news/talk and 97.3 to CCM, and held on to 93.7 until they sold it in 2009, although it has kept the CCM format. At the same time they sold or did an LMA with James Wolfe and 97.7 was changed to Urban Gospel, but that only lasted about a year, when Grace took 97.7 over again and changed it to programming mostly from Moody except for the morning show, and then to CCM earlier this year, and finally they traded with Forever for 105.3.
 
Hello everyone, I didn't know where to post this, so I thought I would post it here. I think JJ, Jammin Jackson is a good station, my only problem, is probably the playlist. Some of the songs repeat too many times during the day. They do have live djs, but they have Steve Harvey in the morning now and Keith Sweat in the evening, meanwhile they have the two locals djs on in between.
