New station in Jackson?

I was scanning the dial after I heard WRXW is going classic rock and I ran across 99.1. Promo says it's Bob FM. So now we have a Jack clone? Wikipedia says Bob came before Jack, but it's not as popular...

What's next, Dave FM like in Atlanta? Radio in Jackson is going down the poop chute and fast.

Bob FM (WYMX) is in Greenwood, not Jackson.

I also heard Bob FM this afternoon, when I was in Flowood.

I tried searching for it, but could never find anything on it. I tried to pick it up this morning, but it was nothing but static.

Must've been a little tropo or something. Bob's got a massive signal (for Mississippi). I heard it pretty well during the week I spent in Vicksburg and it's not too shabby up past Batesville.

Yeah, tropo has been up the last few days.

It has been nothing spectacular in this part of the country, but the guys in the Midwest have been getting some amazing stuff. 400+ miles, all day long.

i picked up 104.5 as well, presumably h'burg...don't know if anyone north of jackson uses the same frequency.

Just WRVR out of Memphis - if there's anything on that freq. down here in Grenada, that's usually it.
