New station in Orange County

WGMY is on the air from Montgomery on 88.1, with non-stop "Contemporary Christian" music. I stumbled upon the station last night, but heard no ID's at all in over 2 hours of listening. This evening (Friday) after a few minutes of listening I heard an ID at 7:04pm. WGMY can be heard in the Poughkeepsie area, but the signal is not all that good. They ID as Montgomery - Newburgh - Middletown.

I'm surprised they got the WGMY call letters... it sound A LOT like "WGNY" (Newburgh).

That’s great (not)! How long do you suppose it will be before we get another spectrum wasting translator in Poughkeepsie so we can hear the word from WGMY loud and clear?

How about 88.3 which is sound of life just south of Newburgh in New Windsor? I would imagine the signal is a mess in eastern orange.
