NEW STATION ON 87.9

I am getting an oldies station on 87.9. Weak signals at may QTH near
Westpark and Hillcroft. Better in the car a little north. It is playing GOOD oldies music.

Almost certainly a pirate, unless someone has a strong FM modulator for their car or is operating a Part 15 near you.

There have been several pirates on this frequency over the years.

Nothing heard on 87.9 at 11:15pm at my Cy-Fair location.
 
My guess is someone is running one of those little Ipod FM transmitters with a long wire that is getting 2 to 4 block range

Actually the audio sounded quite good with good levels and processing. Sounded almost pro.
