New streams for WPLJ and WABC

PLJ and WABC use new ways to stream there audio. In AAC+. Someone have the direct URL's for the streams? I only have the old ones. This one http://sc6.lga.llnw.net:80/stream/citadelcc_WPLJ-FM but that's the old one. The newer stream is sounding finaly louder.
My internet radio would not stream WABC yesterday for Larry Kudlow's show.

I don't know how it correct that. I have favorites and search, WABC has been consistant and fast lock-in with the favorites in the past.

Whatever the internet radio uses, seems to be incompatable with the current WABC stream.

Direct URLs for WABC AM 770 New York Streaming Audio:

New: http://player.streamtheworld.com/_players/citadel/?sid=826&nid=2920

Old: http://sc6.lga.llnw.net:80/stream/citadelcc_WABC-AM

Direct URLs for WPLJ FM 95.5 New York Streaming Audio:

New: http://player.streamtheworld.com/_players/citadel/?sid=844&nid=2920

Old: http://sc6.lga.llnw.net/stream/citadelcc_WPLJ-FM

Direct URL for WPLJ HD2 New York (95.5 FM) - Scott Shannon's True Oldies Channel:

New: http://player.streamtheworld.com/_players/citadel/?sid=8669&nid=2920

The old URLs still work if they're copied/pasted into the "File...Play URL" dialog box on the WINAMP player; the "File...Open URL" dialog box on the Windows Media Player & the "Media...Open Location from clipboard" dialog box on the VLC Media Player.

I don't think StreamTheWorld's new technology makes it possible for their streams to be "ripped" and their URL's to be plugged into external players, unfortunately...

Whatever the problem was on Saturday, the stream is back on my Aluratek internet radio. But I still don't see a way to adjust that stream.

I don't see a way to direct access the URLs...

I believe if you run one of those URL's through a "view source" website, you can get the actual streaming URL which ends in MP3. Or should, anyway (does it end with AAC now?).

The oldies station in Greenville, NC that I listen to online must have changed their link, because the one I have on file is inactive, and has been for weeks.

I think this the URL and there is no URL available with the .mp3 extension. This is the directlink. I don't if there other URL's are available for this PLJ and ABC stream?

I'm just curious, but does anyone else use radiotime red button? This was my source for recording PLJ for the last 6 years, and now I may finally have a reason as to why it no longer seems too work on at least two computers..

Just wondering if anyone else can get the net stream too tune in using that software..

THanks :)

I've never used Radiotime... Meanwhile, I have a feeling all of the Citadel radio stations have changed over completely to StreamTheWorld, as older links with "LLNWD" in the URL are now inactive. Remember years ago, when CBS and Clear Channel were utilizing LLNWD for streaming their radio stations? How the mighty have fallen.
