New Syndication Effort

I heard through the grapevine that the internet station in Little Rock are putting Pat Lynch and Grant Merrill on satellite to distribute both shows to affiliate stations....I found this link in some literature that was showed to me....www.apradionetwork.comNot exactly a huge roster of stations to start out with.

I was wondering when the techies would realize that they would have to be on terrestrial radio to survive. I spent about a day listening to wai radio and was impressed with some of the product. The morning show with Grant Merrill was decent. He could have been a little more creative, but he was able to line up some big Arkansas guests. Pat Lynch in my opinion is a viable talk talent, and will do well in the smaller markets. I had to laugh though when I heard Steve Freeman. He is still the immature punk kid that hung around and bugged the hell out of us at KSSN when I worked there. The day I listened to his "no holds barred" program, he had let a discussion about March Madness somehow morph into a story about a station he had worked at in Harrison or Mountain View or somewhere like that. He proceeded to call his former manager (who is still there) an a__hole and even used the words go f___ yourself on the air. That tells me that as was the case when I knew him, he still truly doesn't have a clue... So if Steve Freeman is involved, and they are going to actually syndicate these shows, I don't think you could pay me to put his type of programming on my radio station, if I had the decision to make. I don't think his old station will be picking up this network based on those comments!!

I can promise you, you will never hear language like that on our network. The problem has been taken care of.I am really excited about the launch. It's going to be great. It's something that hasn't been done in Arkansas before as far as non-sports talk goes. Pat Lynch deserves to be back on the radio, and I can't wait to hear his show.Get ready... We're going to have a lot of fun!! :)
