New talk station in S'Burg?

A friend told me the other day that his dad was starting a new talk station in S'burg. I hadn't heard anything about it, but he swore the station would be on in less than 30 days. My friend didn't have any real information about the station and refused to call his dad because it was 2 in the morning.. haha.. Anyway, I know the guy's last name is Anderson and he has done a lot of work for WORD. Filled in for the morning show people several times I am told. Said the plan was to get this station up in S'burg and buy a station in Greenville in the next few years to try and kick WORD's butt.

According to my friend, he wants to talk to me about Teen Forum Show for weekend programs.

Any idea who this guy is and where the station is coming from?

His name is Dick Anderson. He was the news guy at WORD. Dick never filled in for Russ and Lisa. Dick is a creative guy. The latest station in Spartanburg is WSPG. Dick does not work for them.
