New Talk Station

I just wanted to say that "Fred" provides some quality background info there on Gallagher.

As for the rest ... we are at the point of waiting. Further speculation is fruitless. Let the radio people go nuts the next 5 weeks over this. I got bushes to trim out back.

what they should do is put 50's and 60's oldies on 104.5 and put all talk on 106.1

Yeh! I'm with you on that one.....plus they should put Sunny's current programming on WPEN, and change the call letters back to WCAU. Any thoughts ?

Brian Check WSNI PD denies a format flip. What else do you expect him to say? But---if WSNI does flip to FEM TALK----it will be another loser ---just like all formats have been on 104.5 !

Oh, I agree here!!! Why wouldn't SNI just want to blow the doors off and go full-blown talk on FM, not this cherry-picked targetted talk?

and ----talents like Hyski, Nettleton, Kim Martin are not on the radio! (what a total disgrace!!!!!!!!) Jay

Well isn't radio about the commercials and not whatever comes on in between them? Commercials are about getting people to spend money, or if they already don't have money, to borrow money and preferably at high interest, that they can spend. So, you want to put something on the air between the commercial breaks, that targets what you hope is a collection of predominantly fiscally irresponsible people. Ergo, the Chick Talk format. Play the music or talk the talk of people who have no clue how to manage money.
