New Texas log, early morning 12/8/2018

Finally bagged this one.

1530 - KGBT TX, Harlingen; with SS talk under KFBK and string of promos mentioning 'Univision radio' and 'deportes' at 0155 PT 12/8. Then KFBK rapidly faded up S9+30-40db and drowned out KGBT. NEW #780, 10KW at 1,865 miles! I have heard SS on this channel in the past, but I could never determine if I was hearing KQSP in Minneapolis, or KGBT down in the Rio Grande Valley. Now I know.

Good signals from KQWB-1660 ND and 1700 KKLF-TX as well, last night. Let's keep it up!
 
Nice catch. I've been trying to snag KGBT since the '60s. I'm still waiting...LOL,
