New to the Tampa/St.Pete area

Hello all! I am new to this area and was wondering if anybody out there has any insights to the radio industry here. I'm not new to radio, I've been doing this for well over 10 years...just want to get a feel for the market and try to pry my way in somehow. I'd love to hear any thoughts/ideas/tips/suggestions, be it good, bad, or ugly. Thanks so much!

The talk in the town is brutal. There are several sports talk options and none of them are very good. For peeks sake the alleged #1 sports station pipes in an awful show from Orlando hosted by Dan Sileo.

The NT is good only if you like syndicated stuff you can get elsewhere.

The town used to have very good talk radio and now it's pretty bland or bad.
