new topic...why is Scott Stapp getting played on the Buzz?

I thought I'd start a new topic...music on the radio. novel idea.

why is the Buzz playing the new Scott Stapp? it sounds like Creed which everybody is tired of. the old band fired him. and they sound generic. Stapp sounds generic. I heard this tonight when I was out and I thought it was Creed. I had to get home and check.

when is the Buzz going to be "cutting edge"? I looked at their playlist and it is still boring, not much variety, only harder sounding bands. still not playing new bands like Death Cab or the new Franz Ferdinand, or Coldplay, Strokes and Depeche Mode.

and I thought they might "freshen" up after KLOL got blown out. just more Korn, Staind and Cold. I guess the tattoo generation has enough cash to support the Buzz and BuzzFest.

am I off? (which I know I've been told before on here.)
is this what Houston wants?<P ID="signature">______________

too much of today's music sounds the same, I would love to see a station mix some hair metal with some of today's alt/nu-metal music. It is all bodering on the rock genre, so why not shake things up. Enough of this rap/pop all the time crap.

Not that you can look at it, but Creed's "Greatest Hits" (misnomer in my opinion)sold around 60,000 copies in Houston alone. Saying no one likes them isn't exactly true. As for Franz, Depeche Mode, and Coldplay... the list I see shows them playing those bands, but not as much as some others. Does that prove your point? I'm not sure, because personally I am glad they don't play those bands a lot... but then again I hate Creed as well so who knows. As for Stapp's band... they are from Houston... most played in Gone Blind. Maybe that's the connection.
