New translator from Boerne on 96.7

I noticed they filed a Resumption of Operations on Friday.
Can anyone hear it on 96.9 or 96.7?

From RadioInsight:

"Centro Cristiano de Vida Eterna’s application to relocate 96.9 K245DE Boerne TX to 96.7 and closer to San Antonio was dismissed after KDRY Radio Inc. filed an Informal Objection stating that their 1100 KDRY Alamo Heights did not grant them written authority and does not grant its consent to rebroadcast their station as claimed in the application."

Good for 1100 AM KDRY, standing up to these guys.

So they're trying to enter town again, this time using KONO FM as their base station. KONO, as far as I know, doesn't have anything to do with KDRY so this may just go through if KONO allows it.

Wow so I was just informed that the last license to cover filed by K245DE isn't truthful!
They used the site of K280GR and did not build anything. Straight from someone who apparently has a radio meter and checked it out.
Someone with the know-how needs to file against this translator again. I have a feeling it will overpower and kill KXTJ-LP when built.

Looks like Cox has objected to their use of KONO-FM as the primary station. This is the second time in a row the licensee has certified permission to rebroadcast a primary station for this translator only to have permission challenged with the FCC by the proposed primary station's owner.

Doesn't surprise me, especially since they're operating 90.5 without a primary station in San Antonio.

Where's Cox's objection? Not sure how to look up petitions to deny with FCC's new system.

As for the translator's licensee, I doubt they're asking KDRY and KONO before using them as primaries.
