New Translator?

Im picking up a lot of interference on 103.7 FM. In the background I can hear 105.3 FM Power Fm. Is this a new translator?

Where are you at? I thought maybe power fm changed frequencies but I hear them on 105.3

I was in the Heights, On Yale St and I 10. Then drove back to work on Shepherd and 11th at. During that little drive I heard 103.7 FM battling with power FM 105.3 FM.

After 40 years In the business I've never heard of anything like this. Engineering wise I can tell you it's IMPOSSIBLE. Are you sure is not you're DYSLEXIA kicking in?

There’s always a first time then I guess. When I said power 105.3 FM I meant the name of the station not the frequency. Let me rephrase it, I heard POWERFM on 103.7 FM Battling versus AIR1 on the same frequency on my car in the Heights area. As I drove north away from the Heights I started picking up air AIR1 again very clear without the static and without the interference Of POWERFM

I just tuned in and I heard the lyrics to a song saying “there is power in the name of Jesus” maybe that’s what u were hearing ?

Maybe the Power translator was either broadcasting on 2 frequencies, or someone had a vehicle transmitter broadcasting Power.
Recently an Air 1 translator near Houston changed channels automatically and had been on the wrong channel for a few days before they were notified and were able to fix it. And a couple weeks ago an LPFM in my area changed frequency for a few days then went back to the one it was licensed for.
