New Trends out--KTAR-FM up!

New Arb trend.....this is 12+....KTAR 3.3 (up from 2.9), KFYI DOWN to 4.1...they lost a full point.

Guess this FM talk might have a chance after all.

And did you also notice that KZON was up .5? I wonder what the key driver was for that? Leykis?

Since I don't have access to the book, I would hazzard to guess that KTAR's biggest gains are in morning and afternoon drive. Am I wrong? Those are the times that I listen to KTAR. Nothing like sharing my drive with Ned, Connie, Ded Simons, Jayme West and Deputy Dan!

Sandusky Radio should sell four radio stations to CBS Radio or Entercom Communications after 29-years in the valley.

Entercom is a good radio operator who like rock lots.

Entercom might dump Rocker KDKB for Alternative Rocker 93X and move Alice Cooper to Classic Rock 100.7 KSLX.

Entercom might being back Adam Carolla in the morning and Tom Leykis in the afternoon on Alternative Rocker 93X.

Adam Carolla is on Entercom-owned stations 106.5 KWOD in Sacramento and 107.7 The End in Seattle.

CBS Radio might buy four stations from Sandusky Radio and dump rock on KDKB for Hot Talk with Adam Carolla, Opie and Anthony, Tom Leykis and John and Jeff might being back Big O and Dukes to this station. Also keep Rock on Weekend on KDKB. Move Alice Cooper to Classic Rock 100.7 KSLX.

The new slogan would be 93.3 KDKB Everything That Talks.

It might happen. Yeah, and monkeys might fly out of my butt!

wow, what a statement. i'm not defending his work as a morning guy for free fm, but adam was a part of two of the most socially relevant shows in recent memory...the man show and love line.

KLIF is a complete loser that hasn't done anything worth talking about in many years. You'd think with that blowtorch signal they could do better than barely crack a 1 share. It all comes down to not spending a dime on anything.

Wrong. Savage is a hoot, there are a couple of good shows on the weekend, and while J.D. can't touch Joe Crummey, he has his moments, and overall, KFYI is still better than KTAR.

Now, KTAR beat them in the newest ratings. I noticed The bald one and jacobs didn't bother mentioning the latest ratings on their shows this month. They obviously saw they got beat.

Uhh, last I checked, a 4.1 > 3.3 -- could just be that fancy book-learnin' of mine though. I believe you should read those numbers again.

I think Jack is talking about May, a 3.2 to a 2.6 with KTAR winning.
