Looks like http://www.area108.com have made some minor modifications to their website. Their realplay and mobile phone links still don't work for some reason... however the winamp link works pretty well. Plus they've created a myspace account (gosh who hasnt these days?). Their two newest (only?) DJ's Larry Mac and Dennis Huff also have their profiles up as well. I also see that the "independant" radio slogan (in addition to the area 108 tag), has made its way over from their sister station in Phoenix. Now if only they can get their "Hotsheet" link working.

Yeah, but the website for the Coyote has yet to be updated. It still
congratulates the winner of the pickup truck and there are no links to
the morning show, jock bios, etc. You would think Beasley would have made updates at this time. KWNR must be laughing right now.

Lets see... Ops Mgr Brad has a brand new country station thats taking on the market leader. His 80's station is taking it up the back side and what is he doing???

Well... My flies on the wall at Beasley tell me King Brad is running around the hall ways with a stop watch timing Kim Kelly's breaks and cutting the size of the KKLZ library.

Update the website? Come on, he's really busy right now.

Whats more important, Updating your website or getting your jock's out to meet and greet the listeners?

M and G with listeners, Website can wait till the cracks in programming are filled!

At total random, I checked KCYE.COM on Thursday and found what appeared to be a "test" run of their new website. It was gone very soon after that, so I must have caught it on a fluke.

If this test ends up being the final product, I can tell you some things about it. It will be Las Vegas themed. There is a picture of the Las Vegas skyline at night. The sections of the site will be divided by either chips or playing cards, I forgot which. They have sections for air talent, concerts, polls, coyote comps etc. None of the content was available, just a general structure.

Speaking of coyote comps, does anyone else think it sounds strange hearing another station besides 92.3 say the word "comp" so much? I suppose since a relatively low % of the country audience shares cume with KOMP it doesn't really matter.
