New voice heard on WILM

Yesterday I was scanning the dial and stopped on WILM during their local news capsule after Fox news prior to Hannity going on. I heard a Mark Rooso (is how he pronounced his name) doing that news capsule. I looked at all the CC Delaware radio stations web sites (WILM, WDOV, WWTX, WDSD, WRDX) and no where is anyone with a name of Mark listed. So he may be brand new or possibly one of the office or sales folks filled in yesterday. As it turned out, I could get WDOV and checked and Phil Feliciangeli was on WDOV doing their news capsule. I'm not sure why the new voice or why they simply didn't simulcast the news capsule from Phil.
 
Given Clear Channel's penchant for shifting around anchoring duties around regions, it wouldn't be unheard of if that new anchor voice had come from outside the Delaware--Philadelphia region, for example, Richmond, Virginia.
 
DX, were you guessing or did you know that Mark Russo is an anchor/reporter at WRVA, Richmond, a CC station? I found the info from a Google search.

Looks like regional news voicetracking has come to WILM.
 
That was just a guess.

But prompted by your response, I just did a web-search, and indeed, that name DID come up for WRVA, Richmond, which is a big regional hub for Clear Channel.

And this would not be the first time WILM has been voice-tracked from Richmond. It's happened often at night during "Savage Nation".
 
I guess the question for me is, why not simply use Phil's voice as he's literally reading the same news at the same moment on WDOV?
