New Waco FM

Poking around the FCC site and noticed there was a CP for a new station on 106.7 Hewitt. It took the calls KDRW today.

It looks like the person that owns it also is building a new station east of Sherman/Denison (KQDR 107.3 Savoy). Anyone know anything about what this may be once it hits the air?

Not bad, considering they got it through the auction process and then did a one-step upgrade from a Class A to a C3. Looks like pretty intense contour protection due north because of KZZA but still good coverage of the Waco area.

for some reason i thought this post was actually going to be about.... WACO-FM.

Looks like the transmitter could be on the KWTX-TV aux transmitter tower there next to I-35.
