Chucky... Easy does it, brother. Have to say you're right to an extent. Having worked on a few sites, I concur that WCBS-FM is "basic." I was talking form an immediate access point of view, as in "yesterday." No, it ain't the Times, CNN or even Drudge or Huffington. I should have been more specific in saying the WCBS-FM site would be "one of the most hit radio websites."
But on the other hand, it's quite possible that (as has been suggested) the webmaster put it up on the fly, there's not a lot of money allocated to it at this time and that it will become more elaborate with more pages and links as time goes on.
A friend suggested that it may be the site was intentionally "basic" so that non-'net types would find it easy to navigate. Who knows?
I'd like to know what kind of processing (if anny) they're using on the stream.
