New website for WFSB

I am not a channel 3 guy, I usualy watch channel 30 news, however this website is VERY nice. The NBC 30 website just looks like garbage, and whats with the pacman fonts?

Pay attention to what channel 3 did with their website channel 30!

I really like Channel 3's website a lot. I liked the old one too, but this one is SO much better.

I also saw a promo for the new season of "Better Connecticut", and they are making many changes there too. The technical crews at 3 know their stuff.

The website is maintained by Internet Broadcasting, so its the IB people who know their stuff. :) WFSB's sister stations, WSMV and WNEM (all three are owned by Meredith) have similar newly-launched sites, as does non-Meredith-owned WISC. In WISC's case, it's likely the first redesign in over five years, as the site previously had a design that IB started phasing out in 2005 at the latest.

Curiously, WEWS actually still has its pre-2004 IB site, despite all of Scripps' other stations now having sites run by Inergize.

Seems like Channel 3 is at the top of the heap in this market. I agree, the website looks good and blows the others out of the water. Has anyone been to the WTNH site lately? Typos and mis-information everywhere!

I have to add my 2 cents. Channel 3's web site is very nice, readable and even enjoyable to browse. The web developer did some nice work and they should be proud of the outcome.

Did you hear their new slogan? WTNH - we're the public access of commercial tee-vee in Connecticut! The web site shows it too.

I agree with what Scott said up above. WFSB's new site is much better. As for WVIT, it's NBC-Universal who needs a good stern talking to. All of their O & O's have this presentation. Even finding Gerry Brook's semi-daily "Brooks File" article is tougher.

Other IB stations (*cough*Hearst*cough*) could use a clean layout like this.

The Cox and Post-Newsweek stations received new IB site designs earlier this year, so it's probably only a matter of time before the Hearst and McGraw-Hill stations follow.

I just hope the Hearst stations dump their current weather sections (the ones that look like this). I find them annoying to use.
