New weekend anchor on KPNX

Not overly impressed with this new guy. But I haven't been impressed with any of 12 News' recent hires. It just seems they are going cheap.

Mike definitely has his own style...very conversational. Not sure how that fits in with the Phoenix market. Or he may just be a bit nervous at the start as this is his largest market yet.

Yes, that's it -- conversational! However, he has a co-anchor here who has been solo anchoring the weekend news. Let's just say there wasn't automatic chemistry there.
