new WFSB meteorologist

Did anyone notice that there's a new meteorologist at WFSB?

Nick Morganelli did the "Eyewitness News This Morning" weather on Friday, while Scott Haney was on location at an East Haven St. Patrick's Day party.

The last time he did weather in this market was on NBC30 a few years ago I think. I wonder where he was in the meantime, and if he's only going to be at Channel 3 temporarily, while Melissa Cole is on maternity leave.

Besides WVIT-TV channel 30, I think he was also at WWLP-TV (NBC) channel 22 in Springfield.<P ID="signature">______________

I could be wrong, but doesn't he also fill in occasionally on NECN??? Name sounds familiar to this down-easter!

Nick left WWLP and after a summer off went to Weekends at WVIT to do weekends temporarily, then to NECN before going to WFSB.

At WWLP, he was replaced by Brian Lapis, at WVIT, by Garret Argionis, NECN, well I don't watch NECN, so I couldn't tell you. I will bet he's only temporary at WFSB. He doesn't seem to be able to hold one station down.
