New WHJJ Lineup effective 12/8

5:30a-9:00a- Imus

9am-Noon- Quinn and Rose

Noon-3pm- Helen Glover

3pm-6pm- Sean Hannity

6pm-8pm- Mark Levin

Arlene announces retirement at 5:40pm today.

A total disaster for 920 WHJJ.
I will now take them off my car radio preset.
Amazing how they've mismanaged that once powerful station into complete oblivion.

Quin and Rose??
Who??
On the bright side,
Isn't this the house cleaning most of us wanted?
Helen Golver remains, which is a good thing.
I don't think Quin and Rose lasts a year. Which may mean another local by
next year.
Radiohead06,
Mark Levin is excellent. Give him a chance and we still have Helen, while
Barte and Violet are gone. I hope WHJJ starts to finally get it right. Walter.

They probably wont be able to keep Savage with the PawSox coming this spring...

Well I can still get Savage on two other stations over the air and a bunch more places thanks to streaming. So I'll live. But it's becoming obvious that Rhode Island needs more than two talk stations. It no longer seems to be enough to cover all the syndicated programming out there.

Not sure whether that's a sarcastic comment or not, but it seems with 'BZ, and 'RKO with it's roster of syndicated fare, Boston provides plenty of talk for the Ocean State

Not sure about Savage back on 'PRO, since they now have Glenn Beck from 7-10pm, which seems like a good choice for that daypart.

might be time to shut down hjj for good, pointless to keep making these stupid moves...

Wasn't trying to be sarcastic since I wasn't considering Boston. I'm only considering Rhode Island stations. We need more than two competitors here.

The WPRO site now does have a pic of Glenn Beck with a link to his site (though Beck's affiliate list needs
to have them add WPRO). For a little while the pic of Sean Hannity was up there but had linked to the
Beck site when you clicked on it.

Beck updates his site's affiliiate list once a month, and there are some stations that apparently like to move the show around to different dayparts that haven't been updated on the site in some time. Best way to get an affil list for the show, or any other, would be to call Premiere or whatever syndicator's agency and pretend to be an advertiser.

It's good that Arlene was allowed to announce this herself & stay on the air once it was announced, but CC could have shown the same respect to Joanie & let her say goodbye to her listeners. Obviously she would have handled it with class & the way the station would have wanted it handled.

By the way, my Mom says it serves Arlene right for leaving the sisterhood.

>>Beck updates his site's affiliiate list once a month

Oh, OK...speaking of affiliates lists, WVMT and WCRN have been Howie Carr affiliates for several months now
but the Howie Carr page on 'RKO's site does not list them. I sent an email to Howie/Sandy urging them
to get the webmaster to fix that but so far no action.

Re: New WHJJ Lineup effective 12/8/ or 12/5?

I bet they don't let Arlene on-air on Friday. Station was getting pounded this afternoon and to allow 3 more hours would take a back-bone. My guess is today was her last show.....

WHJJ is running the Hannity show, with Mark Simone filling in...so it's starting today. The WHJJ site
doesn't list her anymore of course and it now says Now On Air Sean Hannity
