Probably nothing??? My guess. They're doing well despite finally having a slightly down book. It seems right that there's about 5 shares of CHR in pittsburgh. Plus, he was quoted in ALL ACCESS as saying he was looking forward to working with (name every kst dj here).

I don't forsee any changes unless someone else signs on a chr or there is a significant ratings drop.

Not really. Sexy female radio chick jocks aren't usually big draws for the station's target demo, young female listener chicks.

It could help draw Melissa Etheridge / k.d. lang / Indigo Girls fans.

You guys are SO serious I was just joking... anyway it does work when you sexy radio chick takes no crap from ANYONE... can stand her own ground up against the men and gives the most realistic female perspective... no goo goo gaa gaa crap about hairspray and nailpolish... just tells it like it is!!!!!!!!!!!! Also, when you have young female listeners in your demo, it gives them someone to look up to...

I think WKST needs a sexy, young female who knows how to think like a man. She would keep the men of the station in their places. Perhaps she needs to be on in the morning with Mikey and Big Bob.

Although, it wouldn't hurt to put this female on at any other time of the day either. Kiss is in serious need of a female. They only have non-descript "personalities" like Bonics and Fraggle. Scotty almost was lumped in them, but his huge ego at least gives him some personality.

Perhaps you should send a demo to this new pd Alex Tear.

Maybe I should... it would be fun to come home! It's been 5 years since I've been in Pittsburgh and I must admit I do miss it, the food, the STEELERS and even the snow!

Considering that Pittsburgh's biggest export over the past few decades has been our best and brightest young people, it would be good to have some of you come back. It's just too bad there are almost no jobs for any of you here.

Kiss has a girl on the weekends named Laura. She must've started a couple of months ago. She's okay, nothing great.

That is why I left in the first place! I spent almost 6 months after graduating from Pitt without a decent job. When I got to South Carolina it didn't take a long time for me to get a great on-air gig!

I didn't work in Pittsburgh radio, I was born in Johnstown and went to Pitt. where I graduated in 1999. I came to Myrtle Beach to get into radio (easier to get your foot in the door). I started as the AM show intern for the 100,000 watt CHR here (Mix 97.7)in 2000, from there Weekends, Nights, then to Middays and APD. I left with my PD in 2004 and we breifly did mornings at a Hot AC (Cool 104.9) here, until he took his current gig programming the crosstown CHR competition (I got canned when he resigned) and ended up in middays at the SAME station WSEA Hot 100! So basically a Myrtle Beach market vet! Sorry didn't mean to sound like I was writing my resume!

Adam you did nights at what was (back in my Pittsburgh days B94) 93.7 BZZ right?

Yeah I was at B94 from 2000-2004(till the bitter end) and did nights and was Md! Bet you like that warm weather in January!

It does get cold here, it's cold here now! But not -10 cold more like 38 cold!

So is Miami as bad as they show on Fox News after Wilma?
