New WLIT Overnight Jock

It's great that WLIT hired a new jock for overnights, but she's a puker and doesn't fit with the rest of the airstaff. If they want someone good, they should bring back GiGi Hightower who was great on the air and really fit the tone of the station better than this Theresa chick who sounds like she's auditioning for overnights at Kiss.

I heard her the other night. I agree she sounds kind of hyper compared to the average WLIT jock.
______________

Is she a voice-tracker? It seems to me that Mike Roberts is just the only live voice over 92 on overnights these days.

Is Mike 92? I agree, he sounds like it. He must have a sweet
deal because he`s been 101.9 since the days when WTMX was
WCLR. I always get the feeling he has no idea who the artists
are that he`s playing.

He's not 92, he's working for a station above 92 on the dial--but I know what you mean. I guess it's nice that Bonneville still believes in having a jock 24/7 and as long as Mike wants to do it, they'll let him--but you'd think they'd move him over to Love FM.

Oh, but she will. Check out WNIC in Detroit - where the new PD came from - and you'll find Theresa there, for now...

Re: Live Overnights

I think the following stations are live in overnights above 92 - Candi at B96, Greg Easterling at The Drive, Crazy Ray at The Loop, Mike Myers at US99, Brian Travis at Love, fill-ins at Q101, and Mike Roberts at the Mix. Don't forget Steve and Johnnie at 720am too.

Ken Sumka and Bill Artlip. If you listen in the afternoons to
NewsRadio 78, WBBM-AM, sometimes you`ll hear Ken Sumka
in WBBM`s Eye in the Sky Traffic Helicopter.

Mike Roberts on TMX overnight.

Mike holds another capacity at the station. Not sure if it is Imaging or Production. Hence doing his work at night while on air.

And, being on overnights is usually low key on most formats. His style is suited for the red eye shift.
______________

These days you can hear everyone filling in on the chopper...I even heard TJ Andrew doing fill ins....and he is the engineer at Shadow
