New WROX/Clarksdale Tower is up

WROX-AM's tower was severely damaged on May 11 as a severe thunderstorm (possible tornado) moved through early that morning. The top 30 feet of the tower just folded over. The tower was declared a total loss and a new one went up on Saturday, May 30, so the station is back to full power. There's new audio processing too, so the station shoud be sounding good again.

Holy cow, I had no idea anything bad happened! Sorry to hear about that, Larry. I listened to WROX down in Greenwood just a few days ago, and despite my car's amplified antenna not working, it actually was a good signal and sounded fine.
