WSB-AM PD Pete Sprigg has confirmed that their next new star is: Chris Krok!
Chris who? He's a late-night host from Minneapolis talk station KSTP-AM. Only 31 years old, the Chicago native has had numerous jobs, first in broadcast TV, then in talk radio in markets such as Jeffersion City, MIssouri and Madison, Wiscosin. Here's his bio still up on his former employer's web site:

He will man the 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. slot, doing a live and local show, the first one to do so since they dumped Royal Marshall about a year ago. (Marshall, as most of you know, continues to engineer Neal Boortz's show).
Clearly, the station is grooming Krok for bigger and better things, in case Savage collapses in the ratings or Boortz or Clark decide to retire.
Beyond this bio, I know nothing about him or his political leanings or stylings on the air. I hope to meet him Monday though.
