New WUFO Owner Dream Comes True

Seriously are they still on? If so I will let WTIC know.

This station is licensed by the FCC as a 1 kw day timer on 1080, which is a clear channel. "http://http://transition.fcc.gov/fcc-bin/amq?list=0&facid=60154#10003"

November sunset is 4:45. http://http://transition.fcc.gov/fc...slat=27.00&dlon=78&mlon=46&slon=41.00&tzone=A

But the station is on the air at 6:45 pm and sounds like it's operating with full power. Local minority owned AM's don't have to comply with FCC rules?

WUFO was off the air and WTIC could be heard clear as a bell as I drove home from work around 5 pm. A few weeks ago, around the time WUFO moved into new studios, it was on the air with full power as late as 10 pm. Could be somebody at WUFO reads this board. Could be somebody at WTIC Hartford or KRLD Dallas sent WUFO management a friendly reminder, "Don't forget to sign-off at local sunset!"

Correction. November sunset for Buffalo-Western New York is 5:00 pm as witnessed by WGR's pattern change and grungy reception in East Lancaster-Alden at that time.
