New WYLL afternoon show.

Has anyone been following the buzz around the new afternoon host coming to WYLL on Monday? I missed it, but they gave clues out this week and people can right the clues and submit them with their guesses through the station's website to win a prize. More info is on their site. I'm just wondering if anyone wants to predict the new host? I'm thinking perhaps Eiileen Berne. Garry Meier might be a long shot. We'll just have to listen Monday at 3:00.

That's A.M. 1160. If true, I'm sure a lot of fans would be happy to see Sandy return. I also double checked, and if you are curious, the prize for having all four clues and guessing correctly is two free airline tickets to anywhere in the Continental U.S. What a cool idea for a promotion!

AM 1160 is real big on promotions, which is excellent. Recently I had the pleasure of tuning in to the afternoon show. I don't remember hearing Sandy Rio's, although she is quite talented. :-\ :-\

What sort of foul language are you speaking of?
The foul language that are NOT permimitted on this board an or supposedly on over the airwaves she is just as bad as Sharon McGhee on the old WVON 1450 AM....

If the language was that bad, wouldn't the FCC get involved? Or are you speaking of sexual innuendo and sort of risque language? I don't know, because I have not seen anything offensive (to me) come out of her mouth. It's a Christian talk station--how much foul language do you think they would tolerate??

Maybe Grampa is at the age where he's "hearing things"...if ya get my drift.
